Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- must have associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- minimum two years food and beverage experience
- minimum two years supervisory experience
- ability to interact with guests and staff effectively and resolve conflicts diplomatically
- ability to write reports and business correspondence
- proficiency in basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages
- ability to work flexible shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
- proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- must complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification
- ability to present information and respond to questions from groups
- maintain confidentiality
- knowledge of gaming laws and food safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Associate degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- minimum two years of food and beverage experience
- minimum two years of supervisory experience
- proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- ability to resolve conflicts diplomatically
- ability to write reports and business correspondence
- strong math skills including calculations involving fractions and percentages
- ability to present information effectively to various groups
- ServSafe Alcohol certification
Job Duties
- Supervise assigned food and beverage outlet and manage daily shift operations
- support and monitor operational goals and profit objectives
- coordinate scheduling and address scheduling concerns with managers
- assist in departmental budget process and compliance
- promote and uphold superior customer service standards
- enforce gaming laws and food safety regulations
- assist in developing food service procedures and inspecting menu items
- ensure sanitary and pleasant service
- maintain cost control by monitoring inventory and pars
- assist with administrative duties
- ensure regulatory compliance and report issues
- maintain confidentiality of departmental matters
- develop and train staff
- implement rewards and recognition programs
- evaluate employee performance and provide constructive feedback
- recommend staffing and scheduling plans
- manage workflow and expedite operations
- provide recommendations on employee performance including coaching and counseling
