Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Associates degree in related field or equivalent education and experience
  • Minimum two years of Food and Beverage experience
  • Minimum two years' supervisory experience
  • Ability to interact with guests and staff and resolve conflicts diplomatically
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and interpreting graphs
  • Flexibility to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions effectively
  • Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification

Job Qualifications

  • Associates degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of two years of Food and Beverage experience
  • At least two years of previous supervisory experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact diplomatically with guests and staff
  • Ability to perform arithmetic operations including rates, ratios, and percentages
  • Effective verbal presentation skills for diverse audiences
  • Certification in ServSafe Alcohol training

Job Duties

  • Supervising an F&B Outlet designated to this role and managing the daily shift operations
  • Supporting, administering and managing operational goals while monitoring performance and profit objectives
  • Adhering to scheduling and coordinating with management on scheduling issues with guest satisfaction in mind
  • Assisting in the department budget process and recommending improvements while ensuring budget compliance
  • Promoting and demonstrating superior customer service standards and addressing issues promptly
  • Enforcing gaming laws and regulations applicable to the Food & Beverage Department
  • Assisting in developing food service procedures and inspecting menu items for quality and satisfaction
  • Assisting with sanitary service standards to ensure pleasant guest experiences
  • Monitoring cost control methods including pars and inventory management
  • Supporting administrative duties as assigned
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and reporting issues to management
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality on departmental and company matters
  • Developing and conducting staff training and development programs
  • Overseeing employee rewards and recognition programs
  • Evaluating team member performance and providing constructive feedback
  • Recommending staffing actions including interviewing and hiring
  • Managing scheduling and workflow to meet business needs
  • Providing employee coaching, counseling, and discipline as necessary
