Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends and overtime as business needs dictate
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Must be proficient in Microsoft applications Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to interact with guests, staff and colleagues and resolve problems diplomatically
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
- Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol certification course training
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history
- Ability to read and interpret documents in English
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
Job Qualifications
- Associates degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum two years of Food and Beverage experience
- Minimum two years previous supervisory experience
- Ability to interact with guests and staff and resolve conflicts diplomatically
- Ability to write reports and business correspondence
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and interpret bar graphs
Job Duties
- Supervise an F&B outlet and manage daily shift operations
- Support, administer and manage operational goals and monitor performance and profit objectives
- Adhere to scheduling and coordinate with manager on scheduling concerns with attention to guest satisfaction
- Assist in budget processes and provide recommendations while ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives
- Enthusiastically support and promote superior customer service and ensure all team members follow customer service standards
- Enforce knowledge of and comply with all gaming laws and regulations related to the F&B department
- Assist in maintaining and developing food service procedures and inspect menu items for customer satisfaction
- Maintain cost control methods by monitoring inventory and pars
- Assist Food & Beverage Outlet Assistant Manager with administrative duties
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and report potential issues
- Maintain confidentiality in all departmental and company matters
- Manage staff development, training, and employee engagement programs
- Evaluate team members and provide constructive feedback
- Recommend staffing, hiring, and scheduling to meet business needs
- Manage work procedures and expedite workflow
- Provide recommendations on employee performance including disciplining, coaching, and counseling
