Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least one year of food and beverage management or leadership experience
  • ability to work full time in Ontario, CA
  • knowledge of alcohol licensing and serving laws
  • ability to obtain food handlers and/or SERV Safe or HACCP certification
  • proficient with culinary software and Microsoft Office
  • strong leadership and collaboration skills
  • inventory management experience
  • ability to maintain safety standards and compliance
  • must be accessible and visible to guests and employees
  • able to perform physical duties related to cleaning and kitchen operations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum one year of food and beverage management or leadership experience
  • knowledge of culinary software including Toast, Brunswick, Embed, and Paycom
  • advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel
  • understanding of safety practices and promoting inclusive team culture
  • demonstrated shift coordination and collaboration skills
  • proactive leadership with initiative and problem-solving skills
  • experience in inventory management
  • knowledge of alcohol licensing and serving laws
  • alcohol certification
  • ability to obtain Food Handlers Certification or SERV Safe or HACCP or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, garnishing and presentation of food ensuring compliance with specifications
  • coordinate expo and corresponding duties
  • maintain temperature checks, waste logs and other logs
  • assist F&B Manager with third-party food delivery platforms and to-go ordering
  • assist in weekly and monthly inventory with suggestions for improvement
  • assist in product ordering, supply ordering, invoices and food costs
  • assist in rollout and training of new menus and demos
  • prepare and coordinate with Guest Service Team for catered events and event promotions
  • complete proficiency checks and train new and existing team members
  • assist in scheduling and modify schedules when call outs occur
  • monitor employee time and attendance and prepare daily labor reporting
  • assist in maintaining facilities to comply with security, safety, and environmental codes
  • provide superior guest service by being visible and accessible
  • enforce compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policy
  • perform opening and closing duties including alarm and door checks
  • follow recipes and processes to minimize food waste
  • follow safety and PPE procedures
  • maintain unexpired food handlers' card
  • help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment
  • perform other team-related duties as assigned
