Job Qualifications
- 2-3 years of progressive hotel rooms management experience
- hotel/hospitality degree an asset
- must possess strengths including high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, effective communication, exceptional customer service abilities, and ability to improve the bottom line
- must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
- must be proficient in computer applications including Opera, Reserve, Microsoft Word and Excel
- candidates should have proven leadership skills
- must be fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
- knowledge of Spanish is preferred but not mandatory
Job Duties
- assist in overseeing the entire housekeeping area including public areas and night cleaning
- manage housekeeping and laundry supplies and pars
- ensure all safety and security policies and procedures are followed
- provide staff training, development and scheduling
- promote an atmosphere that ensures customer and associate satisfaction
- effectively deal with guests, other departments and team members
- help maintain high standards of cleanliness and service throughout the resort
