Job Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of progressive hotel rooms management experience
  • hotel/hospitality degree an asset
  • must possess strengths including high energy, entrepreneurial spirit, motivational leadership, effective communication, exceptional customer service abilities, and ability to improve the bottom line
  • must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
  • must be proficient in computer applications including Opera, Reserve, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • candidates should have proven leadership skills
  • must be fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication skills
  • knowledge of Spanish is preferred but not mandatory

Job Duties

  • assist in overseeing the entire housekeeping area including public areas and night cleaning
  • manage housekeeping and laundry supplies and pars
  • ensure all safety and security policies and procedures are followed
  • provide staff training, development and scheduling
  • promote an atmosphere that ensures customer and associate satisfaction
  • effectively deal with guests, other departments and team members
  • help maintain high standards of cleanliness and service throughout the resort
