Job Requirements

  • Certified Environmental Services Executive by International Executive Housekeeper’s Association
  • Minimum of five years experience in healthcare environmental cleaning and management within medical treatment facilities
  • Advanced computer proficiency
  • Strong communication skills with medical and government personnel
  • Ability to manage emergency messaging systems
  • Proficient in English language
  • Ability to perform physical duties such as bending, stooping, sitting, walking or standing for extended periods
  • Willingness to comply with HIPAA and safety regulations
  • Ability to perform at a constant state of mental alertness
  • Capable of standing in for executive housekeeper during absences

Job Qualifications

  • Certified Environmental Services Executive (CESE) by International Executive Housekeeper’s Association (IEHA)
  • Five or more years of specific healthcare environmental cleaning and management experience in medical treatment facilities including inpatient, outpatient and surgical specialties
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate with medical treatment facility management, staff, co-workers, and government personnel
  • Ability to understand and respond to emergency messaging systems
  • Ability to independently speak, read, write and understand English

Job Duties

  • Performs daily quality control inspections
  • Documents findings and initiates corrective actions where needed
  • Participates in initial intensive training for all new hires
  • Participates in training of personnel on proper procedures and department trades as assigned
  • Participates in monthly in service training sessions
  • Participates in annual reviews of staff members
  • Able to stand-in for Executive Housekeeper absence
  • Trained in ordering of supplies and equipment
  • Knowledgeable in all employee staffing, schedules, daily assignments
  • Ability to direct and adjust to emergent and/or unforeseen conditions
  • Other duties as assigned
