Job Duties

  • assist in short and long term planning and management of housekeeping operations
  • understand and manage housekeeping and laundry supplies and pars
  • train employees on guest greeting and courteous guest request handling
  • maintain consistent inspection program
  • ensure adherence to safety and security policies and procedures
  • collaborate closely with other departments
  • inspect rooms daily
  • purchase linens and housekeeping supplies
  • stay updated on latest housekeeping and laundry technologies
  • coordinate with vendors for pricing, delivery, and maintenance
  • supervise and mentor multilingual and multicultural staff
  • ensure compliance with OSHA and ADA standards
  • manage turndown service and special VIP guest needs
  • maintain proper staffing levels to meet customer service goals
  • coach and counsel employees to uphold Hyatt service standards
