Job Requirements

  • Minimum of two years experience in food & beverage or banquet management
  • Experience in hotel or convention industry
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for long periods and walk moderate distances
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weights
  • California Food Handlers Certification required
  • CA Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification required
  • Proficient in basic computer skills

Job Duties

  • Manage banquet event setups and room arrangements

  • Maintain and operate banquet equipment properly
  • Ensure financial success and operational efficiency of the banquet department
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfill event requirements
  • Train and support banquet staff to uphold service standards
  • Handle event-related challenges promptly and professionally
