Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
  • 2 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, guest services, front desk, housekeeping or related professional area
  • or 3 years experience in at least two hospitality areas
  • ability to lead and manage teams
  • knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work full time
  • flexible and reliable

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2 years experience in food and beverage, culinary, guest services or related areas
  • experience running shifts and scheduling staff
  • knowledge of hospitality operations and standards
  • ability to lead and train teams
  • strong customer service and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Communicates service needs to kitchen and steward staff
  • totals charges and prepares checks for group functions
  • verifies banquet rooms and event spaces are set per specifications
  • inspects cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silver
  • sets tables according to event type and standards
  • leads shift teams and coordinates meetings
  • addresses guest satisfaction issues and feedback
