Job Requirements
- Must be able to read and interpret documents including blueprints, schematics, procedure manuals, OSHA standards such as lockout/tagout and MSDS
- Possess ability to troubleshoot, repair and/or maintain physical building including FF&E, A/C and refrigeration equipment, electrical systems, mechanical equipment like motors/starter/pumps/fans, plumbing and drains, pneumatic and electronic systems and controls, fire alarm and life safety equipment
- Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical skills to assess and identify problems and implement solutions
- Must be able to safely use hand and power tools
- Must be able to work any of the three shifts as needed
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of brand standards and service standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, procedure manuals, and OSHA standards
- proficient troubleshooting skills for building systems including FF&E, A/C, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic, electronic systems
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- strong analytical skills to assess and solve problems
- experience with safe use of hand and power tools
- capable of working any of the three shifts as required
Job Duties
- Provide daily condition and work progress reports to the chief engineer
- Supervise, direct and inspect engineers daily to ensure productivity and quality standards
- Coordinate and rollout projects as directed
- Interact with guests, contractors, and vendors as needed
- Ensure compliance with brand and service standards including SALT
- Perform day-to-day maintenance and preventative maintenance projects
- Assist engineers with troubleshooting, repairs, and regular maintenance
- Conduct inspections of public, back of house, guest room, and exterior areas regularly
