Job Duties

  • Hire, train, coordinate, and schedule personnel for event operations
  • Arrange for volunteers and hire temporary personnel
  • Schedule and monitor facility use ensuring compliance with policies
  • Prepare facilities according to event specifications
  • Monitor game and event operations and resolve problems
  • Review and approve billings
  • Oversee commercial, university, and varsity sports events
  • Coordinate parking operations with University and city services
  • Assist in sales prospecting, securing, and contracting events
  • Ensure legal agreements and insurance requirements are met
  • Track sales opportunities in EBMS system
  • Report on sales status monthly
  • Manage event and sport budgets responsibly
  • Collect and verify vendor invoices
  • Communicate budget concerns proactively
  • Bill and settle all events
  • Deliver event communications to all stakeholders
  • Coordinate weekly production meetings
  • Submit work orders to vendors
  • Address organizational issues with the Director
  • Conduct post-event meetings for documentation
  • Serve as facility representative and develop event plans
  • Ensure consistent quality experience for customers
  • Execute operational procedures and follow up on incidents
  • Notify and authorize maintenance work
  • Ensure emergency maintenance completion
