Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in human resources management
- At least 3 years experience dealing with union grievances successfully in a New York City setting
- Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations particularly related to labor relations and collective bargaining agreements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion
- Commitment to confidentiality and ethical standards
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in human resources management with at least 3 years handling union grievances in New York City
- Thorough knowledge of employment laws related to labor relations and collective bargaining

Job Duties
- Manage and oversee day-to-day HR operations including labor relations, recruitment, performance management, and employee relations
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations as well as company standards
- Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers on HR-related matters including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances
- Participate actively in labor union negotiations and collaborate with union representatives to address grievances and disputes
- Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints or misconduct, maintaining confidentiality and fairness
- Provide guidance to department managers on labor relations matters including interpretation of collective bargaining agreements and union issues
- Collaborate with the Director of People Operations and senior management to develop and execute strategic initiatives supporting employee engagement, retention, and development
