Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in educational leadership, public administration, business administration, hospitality management, or a related field
  • Three years of experience in student admissions or related recruitment functions
  • Two years of experience delivering hospitality or customer service in a welcome center, conference center, or similar setting
  • One year of experience managing budgets, personnel, or CRM systems in support of program operations
  • Experience using a CRM system to support recruitment, event management, or communications
  • Strong administrative, coordination, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively both written and visually
  • Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles for campus and community tours

Job Duties

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight for campus visit programs, Welcome Center operations, and the Events module of the Admissions CRM system
  • Develop and implement visitor experience strategies, including individual tours, group visits, and virtual programming, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and student-centered experiences
  • Manage budgets, allocate resources, and oversee operational procedures in alignment with university policies, safety standards, and fiscal best practices
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise staff, including Customer Service Representatives and student employees, providing coaching, performance management, and professional development
  • Lead the creation, maintenance, and assessment of tour materials, registration systems, communications, and event logistics to enhance visitor engagement and program effectiveness
  • Partner with academic units, Marketing and Communications, and Admissions leadership to design impactful visit programming, coordinate events, and align efforts with broader enrollment objectives
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for CRM (Slate) event management, providing training, guidance, and support to staff while maintaining system documentation, templates, and reporting
  • Analyze visitor and program data to drive continuous improvement, inform strategic decisions, and report outcomes to leadership
  • Oversee Welcome Center operations, including facilities, supplies, technology, and visitor-facing services, ensuring professionalism, hospitality, and accessibility
