- high school diploma or ged
- two years experience in housekeeping or related professional area
- or two-year degree from an accredited university in hotel and restaurant management, hospitality, business administration or related major with no work experience required

Job Duties
- review staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met
- obtain list of rooms to be cleaned immediately and list of prospective check-outs or discharges to prepare work assignments
- inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies
- supervise an effective inspection program for all guestrooms and public space
- ensure all employees have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms
- communicate areas that need attention to staff and follow up to ensure understanding
- supervise daily housekeeping shift operations and ensure compliance with all housekeeping policies, standards and procedures
