Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- two years experience in housekeeping or related professional area
- or two-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- ability to lead and motivate teams

Job Duties
- review staffing levels to meet guest service, operational needs and financial objectives
- obtain list of rooms to be cleaned and prepare work assignments
- inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies
- supervise inspection program for guestrooms and public spaces
- ensure employees have proper supplies, equipment and uniforms
- communicate areas needing attention to staff and follow up
- supervise daily housekeeping shift operations and ensure compliance with policies
- participate in departmental meetings and communicate departmental goals
- train new room attendants and provide follow-up training
- establish and maintain collaborative relationships with employees
- schedule employees according to business demands and track attendance
- ensure employees understand expectations and policies
- administer disciplinary procedures fairly and consistently
- observe and provide feedback on employee service behaviors
- ensure employee recognition on all shifts
- solicit employee feedback and address concerns
- participate in progressive discipline procedures
- review employee satisfaction results
- participate in interviewing and hiring team members
- set positive example for guest relations
- develop corrective action plans to improve guest satisfaction
- empower employees to provide excellent customer service
