Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years experience in housekeeping or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major
- Ability to manage a team and operations
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of housekeeping policies and standards
- Ability to handle budgets and inventory
- Commitment to maintaining guest satisfaction
- Availability for full-time schedule
- Willingness to engage in employee training and development
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 2 years housekeeping experience or relevant area
- OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field with no experience required
- Proven leadership ability in housekeeping operations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in staff training and development
- Knowledge of budgeting and inventory management
- Ability to manage schedules and employee performance

Job Duties
- Review staffing levels to meet guest service and operational needs
- Prepare work assignments based on room cleaning and check-out schedules
- Inventory supplies to maintain adequate stock
- Supervise inspection programs for guestrooms and public spaces
- Manage department operations to meet or exceed budget goals
- Ensure employees have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms
- Communicate operational areas needing attention and follow up
- Supervise daily housekeeping shift operations for compliance
- Participate in departmental meetings and communicate goals
- Train new room attendants and provide ongoing training
- Maintain collaborative relationships with employees
- Schedule employees according to business demands and track attendance
- Ensure employees understand expectations and policies
- Administer disciplinary procedures fairly and consistently
- Provide feedback on service behaviors
- Recognize employee achievements on all shifts
- Solicit employee feedback and address concerns
- Participate in progressive discipline and employee hiring
- Set a positive example for guest relations
- Implement corrective action plans to improve satisfaction
