Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant field
- 4-6 years of experience in program management, student affairs, communications, or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to use data and analytics to evaluate program effectiveness
- Experience supervising diverse teams and managing large-scale events
- Strong knowledge of event planning, stage management, and cultural programming
- Experience working in higher education, student affairs, leadership development, or similar environments
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments and with diverse populations
- Experience facilitating workshops, leadership training, or group learning sessions
- Training or certification in intercultural communication or leadership preferred
- Knowledge of cross-cultural frameworks and experience with multicultural communities
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools such as Asana
- Proficiency with digital platforms including Mailchimp, Eventbrite, and Canva
- Ability to analyze and present data to inform decision-making
- Creativity and innovation in engagement strategies
Job Duties
- Design and execute over 100 annual events including cultural, educational, and social programs
- Facilitate resident workshops and intercultural training sessions to develop leadership, teamwork, and cultural intelligence
- Use data-driven tools such as attendance tracking and surveys to assess program impact and improve offerings
- Lead signature events like Sunday Suppers, Speaker Series, Resident Retreat, and International Culture Festival
- Supervise Programs Coordinator and Program Operations Coordinator ensuring efficient event execution, logistics, and budgeting
- Build strategic partnerships with campus departments, community organizations, and alumni to enhance programming
- Manage annual programming budgets making data-informed decisions to maximize impact
- Develop systems to track, analyze, and report resident engagement data and satisfaction metrics
- Identify trends and provide actionable recommendations to improve resident experiences
- Present data-driven insights related to improving programming and communications
- Supervise, mentor, and coach professional staff, part-time staff, and student leaders
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training for staff and resident leaders
- Lead or co-facilitate leadership workshops, retreats, and training modules
- Set measurable goals, provide regular feedback, and monitor team performance
- Create, organize, and maintain policies, resources, and guidelines for the department
- Supervise and manage the I-House Resident Council and other resident leadership initiatives
