Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 – 7 years of progressive HR experience
- Experience in the hospitality industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, relevant regulations and HR best practices
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Fluent in English
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail

Job Qualifications
- Minimum 5 – 7 years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrated experience leading or supervising People functions or staff
- Experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, relevant regulations and HR best practices
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bilingual preferred
- Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service ethic
- Attention to detail
- Comfortable communicating in English
Job Duties
- Serve as a primary resource for employee concerns, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies
- Support programs that promote employee satisfaction, retention, and strong workplace culture
- Assist in conducting investigations and resolving employee relations issues
- Oversee onboarding and orientation processes that reflect the hotel’s culture and brand standards
- Support deployment and administration of recruitment strategies and processes for all staff, collaborating with the People and Culture Manager to ensure timely staffing
- Support performance management processes, providing coaching and guidance to supervisors and assisting department heads and division heads with process adherence
- Coordinate rewards and recognition programs, including employee engagement days, employee and leader of the quarter, and DEI committee meetings
- Ensure necessary legal postings are visible to all employees and assist in monitoring employee relations programs such as the Drug Free Workplace Policy
- Promote strong leadership practices with individualized motivation and recognition approaches, develop incentive programs, and support action plans resulting from employee engagement surveys
- Promote the Dorchester Collection brand and lead by example through company values
- Communicate effectively across departments to maintain operational alignment
- Perform additional job-related duties as required.
