Job Requirements

  • current CPR and First Aid certifications or ability to obtain within three months of hire

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor's degree
  • two years of relevant job experience
  • bachelor’s degree in recreation, sport administration, or related field preferred
  • demonstrated experience in supervision of facilities, recreation programming, and staff management
  • industry certification by ACSM, NETA, AFAA, or ACE preferred or ability to obtain within six months

Job Duties

  • manage approximately 20 part-time student staff members
  • assist with member management software oversight
  • oversee special events and programming for the fitness center
  • ensure efficient building operations and enforcement of facility policies and procedures
  • process payroll for part-time staff
  • maintain inventory and conduct maintenance of equipment
  • manage data and reporting, including membership and transaction audits
  • perform routine safety and facility inspections
