Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Current Directors of Operations at small to mid-sized properties ready to manage a high volume convention property
  • Current Directors of Food & Beverage or Rooms ready to learn both areas of operations
  • Current Assistant Directors of Food & Beverage or Rooms seeking operational growth
  • Experience as a department head in at least two hotel departments
  • Four year college degree from accredited university
  • Solid work history with strong professional references
  • Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds
  • Service oriented with professional presentation skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Assist Executive Committee members with management of Front Office, Housekeeping, Guest Services, Food & Beverage venues, Banquets, and Convention Services
  • Lead and supervise a staff of hourly associates and Assistant Managers/Department Managers across both Rooms and Food & Beverage divisions
  • Manage over 100 contracted associates within Housekeeping, Guest Services, Security, Banquets, and Convention Services
  • Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by upholding Hyatt service standards
  • Collaborate with department heads to streamline operations and improve efficiency
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to meet business goals
  • Support team training, development, and performance evaluations
