Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Six years experience in food and beverage, culinary, event management, or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major with four years experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to work in outdoor environment subject to local weather
  • Willingness to travel for training, conferences, and special events
  • Capable of working late hours, holidays, and weekends
  • Willingness to work flexible schedule and accept assignments to promote teamwork

Job Qualifications

  • Leadership title with solid knowledge of food and beverage
  • Strong wine knowledge
  • Creative and ambitious mindset
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Five to seven years experience in diverse food and beverage management roles
  • College degree in hotel/restaurant management, business administration, or equivalent
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including late hours, holidays, and weekends
  • Experience managing outdoor dining operations

Job Duties

  • Set expectations and hold food and beverage leadership team accountable for service behaviors
  • Review financial performance reports and make recommendations for CAPEX funding
  • Develop strategies to improve department financial performance and establish goals
  • Manage and develop the food and beverage team including selection, training, and evaluation
  • Devise and monitor the annual budget including labor control and operating expenses
  • Cultivate relationships with guests and new patrons through marketing and personalized service
  • Collaborate with Executive Leadership on menu and amenity design while ensuring product quality
