Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 4-6 years of managerial experience in food & beverage operations
  • Experience with banquet and event management
  • Knowledge of union labor agreements preferred
  • Certification in ServSafe Supervisor
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in POS and accounting systems
  • Extensive knowledge of employment, labor, wage, hour, safety, and health regulations
  • Flexible scheduling availability
  • Ability to enforce compliance and safety procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 4-6 years of managerial experience in high-volume, multi-outlet Food & Beverage operations
  • Experience managing large banquets and events
  • Union experience preferred
  • TIPS certification preferred
  • ServSafe Supervisor certification
  • Professional appearance according to Club standards

Job Duties

  • Oversee all Food & Beverage operations, including dining rooms, bars, and private events
  • Supervise Captains, Servers, Bussers, and Bartenders to ensure exceptional service and operational excellence
  • Serve as Manager-on-Duty in the absence of General Manager and Assistant General Manager
  • Manage hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and discipline of service staff
  • Conduct pre-shift and departmental meetings to communicate updates and objectives
  • Lead operational rounds to ensure quality and compliance across dining and bar areas
  • Coordinate with kitchen leadership on menus, timing, and special events
  • Manage labor scheduling, payroll approvals, time edits, equipment use, and inventory control
  • Review operational costs, prepare forecasts, and implement cost-saving initiatives
  • Supervise Bartenders to maintain beverage quality and service standards
  • Develop standardized drink recipes and bar menus
  • Oversee cleanliness and compliance with health regulations
  • Participate in bar inventories and cost control
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and Club policies
  • Maintain effective communication across departments
  • Resolve member and guest issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain high visibility and professional engagement with members and guests during service
