Job Requirements

  • 3 years or more of finance career progression
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality, Business or related field preferred
  • Experience supervising or directing staff members
  • Experience with POS systems such as Simphony and Infrasys, PMS like Opera, Oracle, ADP/Enterprise, and Kronos desired
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Resume required to be considered

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality, Business or related field preferred
  • Experience supervising and directing staff members

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills in English

Job Duties

  • Prepare and review all journal entries, month-end reports, and reconciliations
  • Review preliminary financial statements with Director of Finance
  • Participate in monthly financial reviews and support Director of Finance with the presentation of these reports
  • Supervise Finance and Procurement staff and the Information Technology functions including coaching and counseling associates, interviewing, training, and evaluating performance
  • Manage and oversee hotel on and off-site accounting functions, ensuring proper fiscal management and timely accurate reporting
  • Systems administration, general ledger account reconciliations, budget preparations, inventories, monthly closings, and full profit and loss responsibility
  • Assist with managing and ensuring SOX compliance by monitoring internal controls and implementing corrective measures
  • Manage the audit process by participating in and responding to auditor requests
  • Prepare all monthly and annual financial statements, investigate, review, and analyze variance explanations
  • Support Director of Finance with special reporting and ad hoc analysis
