Job Requirements

  • minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • minimum of 4 years of experience
  • ability to juggle and prioritize multiple projects while collaborating with diverse teams
  • strong customer service orientation
  • attention to detail and accuracy
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • ability to lift twenty-five pounds

Job Duties

  • Plans and executes complex events including lectures, conferences, and receptions
  • creates and maintains registration pages for events requiring preregistration or payment
  • coordinates with legal education boards and presenters for Continuing Legal Education programming
  • manages catering and university services to ensure efficient, cost-effective events
  • liaises with court personnel and manages facility-related event logistics
  • arranges travel and accommodations for external speakers and guests
  • manages and recommends event budgets and processes vendor payments
  • serves as the primary contact for building emergencies
  • oversees security, maintenance, and repairs of facilities and equipment
  • obtains quotes and supervises installation of furniture and equipment
  • manages all maintenance projects and emergency preparedness plans
  • provides administrative support including procurement, office supplies management, and travel arrangements
  • maintains appointment calendars and prioritizes meetings
  • coordinates law school commencements at off-site locations
  • reconciles and maintains P-Card transactions for events and planning
  • performs other duties as assigned
  • requires occasional evening and weekend work
