Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in alumni affairs, donor relations, event oversight or related experience
  • Ability to propose new and better solutions to existing processes/procedures
  • Ability to deal effectively with a variety of personalities and positions
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the college, university, and external organizations
  • Ability to carry out complex oral and written instructions
  • Ability to work independently with guidelines set by senior leadership
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
  • Graduate degree holders must have at least 3 years of relevant experience

  • Ability to propose innovative process and procedure improvements
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse personalities and positions
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across various stakeholders
  • Capacity to follow complex oral and written instructions and work independently with minimal supervision

Job Duties

  • Directing advancement events including donor recognition recitals, annual gala, and advisory board functions
  • Collaborating with senior leadership to manage advisory boards and volunteer activities
  • Coordinating stewardship activities including donor thank you notes, endowment reports, and life event recognition
  • Managing the Dean’s Society and Director’s Society including creating exclusive donor experiences
  • Developing game day donor cultivation and stewardship strategies
  • Overseeing daily advancement office operations such as customer service and interdepartmental communication
  • Facilitating proposal preparation, donor bio creation, CRM data entry, and expense processing to support advancement leadership
