Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Five plus years of relevant experience in alumni affairs, donor relations, event oversight or related experience
  • Ability to propose new and better solutions to existing processes and procedures
  • Ability to deal effectively with a variety of personalities and positions
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with individuals within the College and University, as well as individuals in public agencies and organizations
  • Ability to carry out complex oral and written instructions and be able to work independently, with guidelines set by the Senior Director of Advancement and Dean, with minimal supervision
  • A valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
  • Candidates holding a graduate degree must have at least 3 years of experience

  • Ability to propose new solutions to existing processes
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with various personalities and positions
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the college, university, and external organizations
  • Ability to independently carry out complex oral and written instructions with minimal supervision
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

Job Duties

  • Directing high-visibility Advancement events for NLHCOM including the Donor Recognition and Reception Recital, annual Gala, Band Family Day, and advisory board functions
  • Collaborate with Senior Director of Advancement to manage advisory boards and councils including meeting logistics and volunteer management
  • Coordinate stewardship activities including facilitating student thank you notes and endowment reports, tracking donor stewardship plans, and managing the Dean’s and Director’s Societies
  • Create and execute game day donor cultivation and stewardship experiences
  • Oversee daily office operations including customer service and representing the NLHCOM advancement team within the college and campus
  • Facilitate Senior Director’s efficiencies by preparing major gift proposals, managing donor data in CRM, producing donor bios, and processing donor visit expenses
  • Propose and implement new procedures to enhance advancement operations and stewardship
