Job Duties
- Conceptualize and develop special events and activities across the university and the city
- coordinate and supervise event details including marketing, set-up, vendor coordination, room reservation, and audiovisual equipment
- manage event budgets and oversee staffing and volunteer support
- prepare and process financial documents and assist in contract preparation
- compose and execute event communications including advertising, marketing, and publicity
- monitor event registration and provide status updates
- prepare reports and maintain an events calendar
- represent the Institute at campus and community events
- develop and execute strategic communications for events and initiatives
- prepare and distribute releases, stories, social media content, and reports
- prepare post-event reports and impact narratives
