Job Requirements

  • Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline
  • Basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline
  • Directly job-related 4 year degree from a college or university or equivalent specialized training
  • Minimum one year of directly job-related experience
  • Willingness to accept education in lieu of experience
  • Willingness to accept experience in lieu of education

Job Qualifications

  • Thorough understanding of theoretical and practical aspects of analytical, technical or professional discipline
  • Formal, directly job-related 4 year degree or equivalent specialized training
  • Minimum of one year of directly job-related experience
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate events
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Experience in facility or event management preferred
  • Ability to act as a positive ambassador for the organization

Job Duties

  • Serve as facility manager for assigned Athletics facilities
  • Coordinate schedule of use, building security, oversight of building systems and maintenance, custodial and grounds services
  • Engage and hold accountable service providers to ensure proper custodial and maintenance
  • Serve as Event Manager for events held in assigned Athletics facilities
  • Manage internal and external constituents and event service providers including parking, police/fire/emergency services, security/patron services
  • Develop and execute event management plans alongside unit leadership
  • Monitor facility operations and event budgets and support future budget planning
