Job Requirements

  • BS degree in Administrative, Business, Liberal Arts, Social Sciences, or related discipline
  • Two to three years of experience related to duties specified or equivalent education and experience
  • Knowledge of NCAA regulations and guidelines
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse constituencies
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to foster a cooperative environment
  • Ability to develop, plan and implement goals
  • Skill in examining and re-engineering operations, formulating policy, developing new strategies
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports
  • Proficiency in computer software applications
  • Ability to work evening, weekend hours and travel
  • Valid driver license with good driving record
  • Must be insurable

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist with the coordination and execution of Development office signature events including Campaign Groundbreakings, Annual Parents Welcome, Scholarship Brunch, Spring Tour events, ILC Weekend, Volunteer Army events
  • Serve as onsite contact for Development events to facilitate operations and respond to issues
  • Collaborate with University Advancement Events Team to ensure seamless event execution
  • Act as Athletics staff liaison in donor hospitality areas on game day
  • Coordinate Development virtual events and assist with vendor contract negotiations
  • Develop and track event budgets adhering to guidelines
  • Support Deacon Club stewardship initiatives and ensure NCAA compliance related to outside interest groups
