Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years' operational management or supervisory experience in upscale dining room
  • knowledge of wine and spirits
  • computer experience in word processing, spreadsheets, and property management systems
  • excellent verbal communication skills
  • strong listening and interpretive skills
  • ability to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members
  • knowledge of property management cashiering procedures
  • ability to understand budgeting and labor calculations
  • ability to exercise judgment and decision-making
  • ability to be on feet for long periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • ability to safely operate company vehicle or golf cart
  • compliance with company policies
  • regular and consistent attendance
  • ability to work well with team members and managers
  • ability to interact with guests

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Training and knowledge of team
  • communicate all internal information
  • coordinate schedule needs of staff
  • daily operation of dining room including openings, line-up, service, closing
  • coordinate daily needs of both shifts to ensure proper coverage and care of guests
  • coordinate room set-ups and floor charts
  • monthly inventory and ordering of china, linen, silverware
  • development and support of team and captains
  • support to wine program
  • sustain positive morale of the team
  • manage special cleaning projects
  • monitor service standards
  • monitor dinner times
  • manage guest seating plans
  • collect information and remarks from guests
  • guest communication
  • oversee daily menu production
  • ownership of corporate meeting functions
  • attend weekly team, group, and manager meetings
  • maintain appearance, maintenance, and cleanliness of restaurant
