Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-3 years operational management or supervisory experience in upscale dining room
  • Knowledge of wine and spirits
  • Computer proficiency including word processing, spreadsheets, and property management systems
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Strong listening and interpretive skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with guests, managers, and team members
  • Knowledge of property management cashiering procedures
  • Ability to understand budgeting and labor calculations
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and decision-making
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to safely operate company vehicles or golf carts
  • Regular and consistent attendance required
  • Must comply with company policies and procedures
  • Must work well with team members and managers and interact with guests

Job Duties

  • Train and develop team members
  • Communicate all internal information effectively
  • Coordinate staff scheduling to meet operational needs
  • Manage daily opening, service, and closing of the dining room
  • Ensure proper coverage and guest care across shifts
  • Coordinate room set-ups and manage floor charts
  • Conduct monthly inventory and ordering of china, linen, and silverware
  • Support and develop team leaders and captains
  • Assist with the wine program operations
  • Maintain positive team morale
  • Oversee special cleaning projects
  • Monitor service standards and dinner times
  • Manage guest seating arrangements
  • Collect and address guest feedback
  • Handle guest communications
  • Oversee daily menu production
  • Manage corporate meeting functions
  • Attend team and manager meetings
  • Maintain restaurant appearance, maintenance, and cleanliness
