Job Duties

  • Lead and manage the kitchen staff fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment
  • Plan and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and culinary trends
  • Oversee food preparation ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Manage inventory control including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to minimize waste
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
  • Train and mentor kitchen staff guiding cooking techniques food handling and presentation skills
  • Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy shifts
  • Monitor kitchen operations to optimize workflow and efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Handle special dietary requests and ensure that all meals meet guests' needs
  • Assist in budgeting for food costs and managing expenses related to kitchen operations
