Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • Indiana certification as a Certified Dining Manager or ability to obtain within six months
  • minimum two years experience in a healthcare food service setting
  • cooking and culinary expertise
  • Serv-Safe Certification
  • ability to work flexible shifts
  • strong organizational skills
  • good interpersonal and leadership abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Indiana certification as a Certified Dining Manager or willingness to obtain within six months
  • minimum of two years experience in long-term care or healthcare kitchen settings
  • culinary or cooking experience
  • Serv-Safe Certification
  • strong understanding of nutritional standards and dietary requirements
  • excellent communication and team leadership skills

Job Duties

  • assist the Dining Services Manager in ensuring meals meet nutritional and special dietary needs
  • ensure meals are palatable and well-balanced
  • comply with nutritional standards and regulatory requirements
  • oversee meal preparation processes in line with health and safety guidelines
  • support the dining services team in delivering high-quality service
  • monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
  • participate in staff training and development
