Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- preferred 2 years supervisory experience
- knowledge of deli or related food service
- dependable and reliable
- able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- strong communication skills
- outgoing and friendly behavior
- proven leadership ability
- working knowledge of personnel reports and financial goals
- strong focus on detail and problem solving skills
- maintain Food Safety certification
- ensure compliance with federal, state and company regulations
- strong organizational and planning skills
- able to lift and carry products up to 70 lbs for up to 4 hours
- able to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
- operate deli equipment
- perform related duties as assigned
Job Qualifications

- ability to operate slicer, wrapping and cooking equipment
Job Duties
- Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit
- responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team
- effectively coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through ongoing planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork
- assist in leading a team that delivers the finest quality products and highest level of service
- assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Deli team
- unload and sort store deliveries, operate, and maintain deli equipment
- ensure execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and regulations
