Job Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • three years full-time experience in preparing meals for an institutional or commercial kitchen
  • possession of a valid Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Training Card at time of application
  • ability to obtain ServSafe Manager certification within six months of hire
  • adherence to all required certifications mandated by state, federal laws, or City regulations
  • ability to pass post-offer background investigation and medical examination including drug/alcohol test

Job Qualifications

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • three years of full-time experience preparing meals in institutional or commercial kitchens
  • possession of a valid Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Training Card
  • ability to obtain ServSafe Manager certification within six months of hire
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
  • strong communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare meals following established recipes and standards
  • maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen work areas
  • adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines
  • monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management
  • assist in receiving and storing food supplies
  • operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
  • collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
