Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years cooking experience
- Knowledge of proper protein cooking temperatures
- Good knife skills
- Previous hotel and banquet experience preferred
- Ability to work varied schedule including weekends and holidays
- Able to lift products up to 50 lbs and use hand cart/truck for heavier loads
- High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties
- Performs all the prep work for soups, sauces, vegetables, starch, meat, fish, poultry, seafood, grated cheese, chop shallots and garlic, garnishes for plate and buffets
- Supplies assigned workstation with all needed products and culinary equipment for prompt production, which requires lifting and transporting of products weighing up to 50 lbs and with assistance of hand cart/truck up to 350 lbs
- Stores all food in refrigerated boxes including covers, labels and dates, using proper containers to protect against waste and spoilage
- Performs general/routine cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned by supervisor to adhere to health standards
- Assists cooks in preparation of all items to be produced for Food and Beverage outlets and Banquet according to Hilton’s high standards of quality
- Maintains proper protein cooking temperatures
- Operates with a sense of urgency and discipline to meet production schedules
