Job Requirements

  • possess 1 to 3 years or more relevant experience in food preparation
  • hold food safe certification or equivalent
  • be flexible to work various shifts including weekends holidays and mornings and evenings
  • have basic computer skills including MS Office
  • able to communicate in English
  • proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus
  • posses knowledge and skills relevant to Asian kitchen products

Job Qualifications

  • possess knowledge and skills in making kitchen products including BBQ hot foods dim sum sushi and semi-finished products
  • have 1 to 3 years or more relevant experience in food preparation
  • hold food safe certification or equivalent in workplace health and safety and food safety
  • be able to communicate effectively in English
  • proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is advantageous
  • have basic computer skills including MS Office
  • be flexible to work various shifts including weekdays weekends holidays morning and evening hours

Job Duties

  • prepare ingredients before cooking such as chopping vegetables butchering meat or cleaning seafood
  • ensure proper receiving is done and food is stored in appropriate conditions
  • maintain and clean own workstation including tools and equipment before and after shifts
  • follow recipes ingredient specifications quantity quality and cooking time as per SOPs
  • ensure kitchen meets sanitation standards and food safety requirements
  • practice FIFO method to ensure freshness and proper food handling
  • maintain cleanliness hygiene and perform equipment and tools maintenance
  • handle garbage recycled materials and disposables timely and properly
