Job Requirements
- possess 1 to 3 years or more relevant experience in food preparation
- hold food safe certification or equivalent
- be flexible to work various shifts including weekends holidays and mornings and evenings
- have basic computer skills including MS Office
- able to communicate in English
- proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is a plus
- posses knowledge and skills relevant to Asian kitchen products
Job Qualifications
- possess knowledge and skills in making kitchen products including BBQ hot foods dim sum sushi and semi-finished products
- have 1 to 3 years or more relevant experience in food preparation
- hold food safe certification or equivalent in workplace health and safety and food safety
- be able to communicate effectively in English
- proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin is advantageous
- have basic computer skills including MS Office
- be flexible to work various shifts including weekdays weekends holidays morning and evening hours
Job Duties
- prepare ingredients before cooking such as chopping vegetables butchering meat or cleaning seafood
- ensure proper receiving is done and food is stored in appropriate conditions
- maintain and clean own workstation including tools and equipment before and after shifts
- follow recipes ingredient specifications quantity quality and cooking time as per SOPs
- ensure kitchen meets sanitation standards and food safety requirements
- practice FIFO method to ensure freshness and proper food handling
- maintain cleanliness hygiene and perform equipment and tools maintenance
- handle garbage recycled materials and disposables timely and properly
