Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- basic mathematics, communication, and computer skills
- food preparation experience or training
- ServSafe Certification and/or Wisconsin Food Manager Certification or complete during probation
- pass food service computer skills test or complete District sponsored basic computer skills class
- pass physical examination requiring lifting 48 pounds, carrying 48 pounds, and pushing/pulling 35 pounds of force
- demonstrate understanding and use of equitable and culturally responsive practices

Job Duties
- Prepare lunch meals according to specified guidelines
- restock serving lines to ensure continuous meal availability
- cashier food transactions accurately
- assist in preparing, counting, packaging, and labeling foods for satellite kitchens
- maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with food safety standards
- practice proper food preparation, holding, and display techniques
- support team efforts to provide efficient and timely meal service
