Job Requirements
- must be at least 18 years of age
- ability to comply with state food permit or health requirements
- no education qualifications required unless mandated by local or state regulation
- preferred high school diploma or GED
- preferred prior experience in food preparation and inventory control

- preferred previous Head Start or Early Head Start experience

Job Duties
- assist in preparation of hot items for breakfast and lunch
- prepare fruits and vegetables
- serve Head Start children swiftly and efficiently
- prepare foods for infants, toddlers, and preschool children following USDA/CACFP standards
- comply with state food permit and health requirements
- assist in inventory control
- maintain a clean and safe food service environment
