Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum age of 18 years
- compliance with all state-specific preschool cook regulations
- at least one year of experience in meal planning, preparation, and service
- preferred valid Food Handler's Card or ServSafe certification
- ability to perform physical lifting and kitchen duties
- enthusiasm for working in a collaborative childcare environment
- reliable and punctual work ethic
Job Qualifications

- at least one year of experience in meal planning, preparation, and service adhering to USDA guidelines
- compliance with all state-specific preschool cook regulations
- preferred valid Food Handler's Card or ServSafe certification
- experience in childcare, daycare, or early childhood education is a plus
- strong teamwork and communication skills
Job Duties
- Assist with minor meal preparation, organize food and supply storage, manage dishwashing, deliver meals to classrooms, uphold kitchen organization and systems
- perform additional tasks as needed such as laundry, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing toys
- ensure compliance with state-specific preschool cook regulations
- collaborate with kitchen team to provide a welcoming dining experience
- prepare nutritious, kid-approved meals and snacks in accordance with USDA guidelines
- maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
- support the overall child development mission through culinary contributions
