Job Requirements

  • Work indoors approximately 95 percent of the time and outdoors 5 percent of the time
  • Use olfactory, auditory, and visual senses to inspect building and detect emergency alarms
  • Occasionally perform physical inspections which may include climbing stairs or accessing restrictive openings
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Be accessible 24 hours a day in case of emergency and perform on-site management during disasters
  • Transfer properties and work overtime as business needs require
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • Compensation: 24/hr to 26/hr

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • Two or more years prior experience in property management or related industry preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of basic accounting practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Duties

  • Completes daily financial transactions including rent collection, fee processing, bank deposits, and invoice payments
  • Reviews resident files and accounting records while communicating regarding outstanding balances
  • Implements procedures for collecting delinquencies and enforces lease agreements
  • Adheres to established eviction procedures and represents the community in court hearings
  • Processes resident move-outs in compliance with lease terms and notice requirements
  • Promotes resident satisfaction and retention by responding promptly to complaints and service requests
  • Acts as on-site supervisor in the Community Manager's absence, organizing work and coordinating maintenance
  • Assists in managing client/owner relationships through community tours, performance updates, and owner communications
