Job Requirements
- Work indoors approximately 95 percent of the time and outdoors 5 percent of the time
- Use olfactory, auditory, and visual senses to inspect building and detect emergency alarms
- Occasionally perform physical inspections which may include climbing stairs or accessing restrictive openings
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Be accessible 24 hours a day in case of emergency and perform on-site management during disasters
- Transfer properties and work overtime as business needs require
- Ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Compensation: 24/hr to 26/hr
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
- Two or more years prior experience in property management or related industry preferred
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of basic accounting practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Job Duties
- Completes daily financial transactions including rent collection, fee processing, bank deposits, and invoice payments
- Reviews resident files and accounting records while communicating regarding outstanding balances
- Implements procedures for collecting delinquencies and enforces lease agreements
- Adheres to established eviction procedures and represents the community in court hearings
- Processes resident move-outs in compliance with lease terms and notice requirements
- Promotes resident satisfaction and retention by responding promptly to complaints and service requests
- Acts as on-site supervisor in the Community Manager's absence, organizing work and coordinating maintenance
- Assists in managing client/owner relationships through community tours, performance updates, and owner communications
