Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Relevant experience in property or community management
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
  • Proficiency in community management software
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations related to budgeting and finance
  • Ability to work onsite with exposure to outdoor elements and travel for bank deposits and training
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday with rotating weekends

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training
  • Demonstrated management and supervisory skills to hire, lead, direct, evaluate, and manage team members including maintenance specialists
  • Effective communication skills to comprehend and complete legal documents, explain apartment features, and answer operational questions
  • Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and database management software
  • Strong proficiency in community management software, preferably Yardi or equivalent
  • Deep understanding of property management processes including leasing, maintenance coordination, budgeting, and regulatory compliance
  • Demonstrated mathematical skills necessary to perform financial calculations, budgeting and fiscal reporting

Job Duties

  • Help meet targeted revenues by ensuring rent and fees are collected and posted in a timely manner
  • Make financial bank deposits as needed and assist with preparation of monthly financial status reports
  • Oversee the leasing process including approving prospective resident applications, renewal leases, and conducting periodic apartment inspections
  • Manage resident evictions and impose late fees as allowable by lease agreements
  • Collect all monies due and manage delinquencies according to company policies to achieve or outperform delinquency KPIs
  • Assist in updating the RADIX market survey and support marketing and leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue goals
  • Promote resident satisfaction by responding to complaints, questions and requests promptly
  • Ensure maintenance team compliance with company standards regarding resident service requests
  • Conduct regular community inspections and take actions to maintain safety, cleanliness and general appearance
  • Complete various accounting, financial, administrative, and other reports
  • Perform other duties as assigned or necessary
