Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 2 years multi-family leasing or related property management experience
- strong communication skills
- proficiency in property management software
- ability to work weekends and assigned schedules
- professional judgment and problem-solving skills
- ability to travel between properties if necessary
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED), bachelor's degree preferred
- 2 years multi-family leasing or related property management experience or equivalent experience
- commitment to providing outstanding customer service
- strong communication skills, written and verbal
- experience in multi-family or related property management, retail sales, or hospitality
- ability to clearly communicate and write in English
- exercise professional judgment to resolve resident issues
- in depth knowledge of community, inventory, pricing, availability, neighborhood, and local community
- proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Entrata, Yardi, and Revenue Management Software
- capable of traveling between communities
- ability to work assigned schedules including weekends.
Job Duties
- Warmly greet prospective residents and create a personal connection while determining needs and preferences
- answer all incoming calls and handle accordingly, whether prospect call, resident issue, service request etc.
- correctly complete all lease applications, assist with application verification, and notify prospective resident of results in a timely manner
- call or visit competitive properties to update market survey on a monthly basis
- enter accurate and timely data into appropriate information systems and prepare leasing reports
- ensure the office, clubroom, apartment models, and market ready units are in impeccable condition
- assist in social media advertising as directed by the Manager
- accept rents and make deposits
- maintain accurate records in Yardi
- participate in revenue management calls when applicable
- oversee duties of Concierge and Leasing Consultants as requested
- complete all new lease and renewal paperwork
- attend training classes and meetings
- ensure compliance with all Federal, State and local laws including Fair Housing regulations
- understand and support the customer experience vision
- personally address and resolve customer concerns timely and professionally
- assist with lease renewals, move-outs, and resident transfers
- participate in monthly property renewal programs
- accept and route service requests for prompt processing
- physically inspect property and report service needs to maintenance staff
- embody the Mill Creek mission, values and brand promise
- champion and enforce the Mill Creek Brand Promise, Service Standards, and Manifesto.
