Job Requirements
- Must be eighteen years of age or older
- Must be legally permitted to work in the United States
- Minimum of ten years of work experience in aviation
- Possess current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- Hold FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
- Type rated in at least two corporate jet aircraft
- Ability to travel overnight more than 50 percent of the time
- Physical ability to perform intermittent periods of continuous exertion such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting heavy or awkward equipment
- Able to work in an indoor environment with exposure to mild physical discomfort
- Must handle multiple demands, difficult situations and require important decision-making skills
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field
- Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) preferred
- Current FAA First Class Medical Certificate
- FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate
- Type rated in at least two corporate jet aircraft
- Effective communication skills
- General business knowledge of department budgets
- Strong customer service orientation
- Polished organizational skills
- Leadership ability to manage technical and detail-oriented associates
Job Duties
- Function as pilot in command on Home Depot aircraft to maintain technical competence and ensure safe operations
- Fully perform all flight-related duties and provide guidance to flight personnel for safe and efficient aircraft use
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and internal company policies for safe flight operations
- Serve as senior captain with flight responsibilities
- Assume the role of chief pilot during absences
- Perform administrative duties including pilot scheduling and invoice management
- Promote and develop department safety culture and management programs
- Select, develop, and motivate assigned staff
