Job Requirements

  • Must have minimum 3 years culinary management experience
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain licensing including Food Manager Certification and valid health card
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English
  • Preferred culinary degree
  • Must demonstrate knife skills
  • Ability to maintain high job standards with attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and use good judgement under pressure
  • Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Must demonstrate creative presentation skills
  • Must demonstrate staff leadership abilities
  • Must be team-oriented and willing to assist in all kitchen phases
  • Preferred knowledge of union environments
  • Required basic computer skills with Microsoft Office

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years culinary management experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Food Manager Certification and valid health card
  • Fluent in English with professional communication skills
  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Proficient in knife skills and kitchen operations
  • Ability to perform with attention to detail and creativity
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making under pressure
  • Leadership and team management skills
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Experience with a union environment preferred

Job Duties

  • Support culinary management in cost control and inventory management
  • Manage and train kitchen staff
  • Supervise food production at all stations ensuring food quality
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain consistent Wynn food quality standards
  • Monitor and improve food quality consistency
  • Lead and mentor kitchen team members
