Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years culinary management experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses including Food Manager Certification
- Valid health card
- Fluent English communication skills
- Culinary degree preferred
- Accurate knife skills
- Ability to work under pressure and resolve problems with good judgement
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks
- Creative approach to plate presentations
- Leadership ability
- Team player willing to assist
- Knowledge of union environment preferred
- Basic computer skills and Microsoft Office knowledge
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Support culinary management in cost control
- Complete inventories and food requisitions
- Manage and train kitchen staff
- Support chef de parties and cooks as necessary
- Supervise food production at all stations ensuring quality standards
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards
- Encourage team participation in decision making
- Maintain consistent food quality standards
- Monitor and improve food quality consistency
- Ensure availability of safety policies and standards
- Identify and report workplace safety issues
- Mentor staff with ongoing coaching
- Provide employee reward and recognition
- Involve management in decision processes
