Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum three years of experience in culinary management in a similar role
  • Ability to work overnight shift from 10:00PM to 6:00AM
  • Must obtain and maintain Food Manager Certification and valid health card
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Must be creative and detail oriented
  • Must demonstrate leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Must comply with all health and safety regulations

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of culinary management experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain licensing including Food Manager Certification and valid health card
  • Fluent communication in English, second language a plus
  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Accurate knife skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and resolve problems
  • Organizational skills to meet deadlines
  • Creative and artistic plate presentation skills
  • Leadership and staff direction abilities
  • Experience working in a team
  • Knowledge of union environments preferred
  • Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office

Job Duties

  • Support culinary management in cost control
  • Complete inventories and food requisitions
  • Manage and train kitchen staff
  • Support chef de parties and cooks
  • Supervise food production at all stations
  • Ensure food quality meets outlet standards
  • Follow government health regulations and safety standards
