Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum three years of experience in culinary management in a similar role
- Ability to work overnight shift from 10:00PM to 6:00AM
- Must obtain and maintain Food Manager Certification and valid health card
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Basic computer proficiency
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Must be creative and detail oriented
- Must demonstrate leadership and mentoring abilities
- Must comply with all health and safety regulations
Job Qualifications
- Minimum three years of culinary management experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain licensing including Food Manager Certification and valid health card
- Fluent communication in English, second language a plus
- Culinary degree preferred
- Accurate knife skills
- Ability to work under pressure and resolve problems
- Organizational skills to meet deadlines
- Creative and artistic plate presentation skills
- Leadership and staff direction abilities
- Experience working in a team
- Knowledge of union environments preferred
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
Job Duties
- Support culinary management in cost control
- Complete inventories and food requisitions
- Manage and train kitchen staff
- Support chef de parties and cooks
- Supervise food production at all stations
- Ensure food quality meets outlet standards
- Follow government health regulations and safety standards
