Job Requirements
- Some high school education
- Prefer some operations experience
- Possess local or municipal food handler certification (acquired at own expense)
- Ability to cook rice and chow mein
- Ability to perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks
- Basic knowledge of food safety practices
- Ability to work standing for long periods
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as needed
Job Qualifications
- Some high school education
- Prefer some operations experience
- Basic understanding of all operations practices and concepts
- Basic knowledge of recipes and cooking activities
- Ability to cook rice and chow mein and learn to cook some entrees
- Ability to learn basic FOH responsibilities
- Understanding of work and food safety
- Understanding of proper procedures for handling cleaning chemicals

Job Duties
- Ensure workability, intensity and integrity
- Perform back of house (BOH) responsibilities as directed by Assistant Chef II and III
- Prepare rice and chow mein
- Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks
- Operate kitchen equipment including Chinese knife and wok following safety guidelines
- Maintain clean, safe, and sanitary store environment
- Assist with front of house (FOH) duties as needed
