Job Requirements

  • Must hold official ID or valid driver’s license
  • Food Handlers Permit required within first 30 days of employment
  • Must be punctual and maintain a clean uniform
  • Ability to perform sanitation and operational duties as directed
  • Must be customer oriented and able to follow supervisor directions

Job Qualifications

  • One year of experience in food service or related area
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant environment
  • Ability to read and understand technical procedures, government regulations, and written instructions
  • Ability to read, add, divide, and multiply
  • Ability to solve practical problems using limited standardization
  • Ability to interpret and act on instructions delivered in various forms
  • Ability to respond effectively to questions from guests, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods

Job Duties

  • Attend to guests and greet them as they enter and exit the restaurant
  • Take POS transactions and provide helpful customer service
  • Set up the store front including turning on equipment, brewing coffee, and restocking items
  • Retrieve breakfast and lunch food from the main kitchen and manage equipment such as carts and hot boxes
  • Perform sanitation duties including washing trays, cleaning work areas, sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes
  • Take timed food temperatures and ensure proper food dating and FIFO
  • Follow all duties assigned by the manager
  • Maintain punctuality and adhere to uniform standards
