Job Requirements
- Must hold official ID or valid driver’s license
- Food Handlers Permit required within first 30 days of employment
- Must be punctual and maintain a clean uniform
- Ability to perform sanitation and operational duties as directed
- Must be customer oriented and able to follow supervisor directions
Job Qualifications
- One year of experience in food service or related area
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant environment
- Ability to read and understand technical procedures, government regulations, and written instructions
- Ability to read, add, divide, and multiply
- Ability to solve practical problems using limited standardization
- Ability to interpret and act on instructions delivered in various forms
- Ability to respond effectively to questions from guests, co-workers, and supervisors
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods
Job Duties
- Attend to guests and greet them as they enter and exit the restaurant
- Take POS transactions and provide helpful customer service
- Set up the store front including turning on equipment, brewing coffee, and restocking items
- Retrieve breakfast and lunch food from the main kitchen and manage equipment such as carts and hot boxes
- Perform sanitation duties including washing trays, cleaning work areas, sweeping, mopping, and washing dishes
- Take timed food temperatures and ensure proper food dating and FIFO
- Follow all duties assigned by the manager
- Maintain punctuality and adhere to uniform standards
